Assessments: Developmental (Autism and ADHD)

I offer developmental assessments for children, adolescents and adults. These assessments may identify Autism and ADHD. I am passionate about helping individuals, their families and schools understand how their brain works. An assessment may identify their strengths and areas where they may benefit from supports or accommodations. Accepting, including, celebrating and supporting neurodivergent individuals enhances their wellbeing and sense of identity.

I often partner with Connection Speech Pathology Services where families are wanting a multidisciplinary developmental assessment but do not already have a speech pathologist experienced with autism assessments.

Assessments: Cognitive and Psycho-educational

I offer a range of different assessments depending on the needs of the individual and the issues raised. I am experienced in investigating and identifying learning differences/disabilities, including dyslexia, dyscalculia and specific learning disability in written expression (previously referred to as language-based dysgraphia). I also complete assessments for intellectual disability and giftedness. My assessments are always holistic and consider a range of factors that could be contributing to the issue at hand. I enjoy working to investigate children and young people’s strengths and support needs to create recommendations that will be meaningful for the individual, as well as schools and families. These types of assessments are available for children and adolescents who are 6-16 years old.

I am a Psychology Board approved AHPRA supervisor and I am also an endorsed Educational and Developmental psychologist. I offer face to face or telehealth clinical supervision, including supervision for:

  • Psychologists to meet their continuing professional development requirements; and

  • Psychologists to meet the Educational and Developmental Endorsement requirements under the registrar program.

I love supervising all psychologists and have a particular interest in supervising psychologists that work in schools, including Student Support Services. I aim to create a safe space for you to explore your own approach as a psychologist and work towards your professional goals. I will be guided by your individual goals for supervision while also meeting the core competencies required by AHPRA. I am happy to have a discussion about your supervision requirements. Supervision can be in person or via telehealth.
